International Students Office
Welcome to the International Students Office (ISO) at the Institute of Chemistry / UFRJ. The ISO was established in 2015 to respond to the needs of a growing number of international graduate students. Our mission is to serve all incoming and currently enrolled international students at the Institute including undergraduate students and also pos-doctorate researchers.
ISO-IQ was created to provide information on a wide range of topics, including visa issues, housing, transportation and resources at the UFRJ campus and in the city of Rio de Janeiro. We believe that our assistance will be very valuable with the settlling-in process after your arrival in Brazil.
The ISO-IQ homepage is still under contruction and at the time you can access our guide wich provides support and assistance on obtaining your RNE (Registro Nacional de Estrangeiro), CPF and on opening a bank account.
